Traffic stop leads to several charges

AMSTERDAM — Pamela Jean Russell, 33, of 2287 County Highway 107 was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle and no/inadequate exhaust by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on Friday.

Deputies said Russell was charged after a traffic stop on Route 30 in the town.

She as given appearance tickets for Town Court on July 13 at 6 p.m.

Man charged with unlicensed driving

MOHAWK — Richard S. Sweeney, 23, of 514 County Route 403 in Greenville was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on June 25.

Deputies said Sweeney was given a ticket for Town Court on July 11 at 5 p.m. and released.

Unlicensed driving charged Sunday

PALATINE — Richard K. Sanford Jr., 33, of 2028 Lodi St. in Syracuse was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday.

Deputies said Sanford was issued tickets for Town Court on a later date.

Traffic stop leads to marijuana charge

PALATINE — Theodore W. Mead, 22, of 514 Brower Road in Palatine Bridge was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday.

Deputies said Mead was stopped for a traffic infraction and found to be in possession of marijuana.

Mead was given a ticket for Town Court and released.

Unauthorized use leads to more charges

FLORIDA — Carl F. Pudvah, 41, of 241 Route 5S, Lot 9 in Pattersonville was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony, felony driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction within the last 10 years, interlock device restriction, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Saturday.

Deputies said a complaint was called in that Pudvah had taken a vehicle without the owner’s permission.

Pudvah was seen operating the vehicle in question and the subsequent investigation found that Pudvah was intoxicated.

Pudvah was held in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility pending arraignment in Town Court.

Woman charged with petit larceny

AMSTERDAM — Debbie Fleszar, 58, no address given was charged with petit larceny by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.

Deputies said Fleszar was charged after taking $52.54 worth of merchandise from Walmart.

Fleszar was given tickets for Town Court on July 13 at 6 p.m.

Man charged with disorderly conduct

GLOVERSVILLE — Lee A. Moore, 33, of 502 County Highway 120 in Oppenheim was charged with disorderly conduct by city police on Saturday.

Officers said Moore was charged following a report of disorderly conduct.

Police during the course of the investigation Moore repeatedly yelled obscenities at officers while standing in the street causing a disturbance. After ignoring warnings to cease his disorderly behavior, Moore was taken into custody and transported back to the Gloversville Police Department where he was released on an appearance ticket for City Court on a later date.
