Man charged with breaking into cars

GLOVERSVILLE — A city man is facing charges after city police said he allegedly took items from vehicles.

Ryan R. Gardner, 26, of 25 Saratoga Blvd. was charged with two counts of petit larceny on Monday.

Officers said that from May 11 to May 18, they responded to numerous reports of vehicles being broken into with items missing out of them in the area of South Hollywood Avenue and Pearl Street.

After an investigation into the incidents, it was determined that Gardner had entered numerous vehicles and stole items out of them.

Gardner turned himself in to police and was arrested. Gardner was issued an appearance ticket to appear in City Court on a later date.

Domestic incident leads to drug charges

MOHAWK — Chad L. Macvean, 30, of 109 County Highway 107, Johnstown, was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Deputies said Macvean was arrested following the investigation of a domestic dispute, which revealed he was possession of seven Xanax pills that were not prescribed to him and that he had driven to the scene of the domestic dispute with a revoked license.

Macvean was arrested and arraigned in Town Court and sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Suspended license charged after stop

PALATINE — Makaila H. Belden, 21, of 445 Pickle Hill Road, Fort Plain, was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Deputies said Belden was seen driving a motor vehicle on West Grand Street in the village of Palatine when deputies stopped him and it was revealed he had a suspended driver’s license. Belden was issued traffic tickets returnable to Town Court.

Domestic incident leads to pot charges

MOHAWK — Noah M. Macvean, 18, of 1273 Old Trail Road, Fonda, was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Deputies said Macvean was arrested following the investigation of a domestic dispute, which revealed he was in possession of marijuana.

Macvean was arrested and released on tickets returnable to Town Court.

Woman charged with petit larceny

AMSTERDAM — Jackeline P. Soto, no age listed, of 1 Park St., was charged at 1 p.m. June 23 by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies with petit larceny.

Deputies said she took several miscellaneous items from a store without paying for them.

She will appear at 6 p.m. July 20 in Town Court.

Loud argument leads to charges

JOHNSTOWN — James T. Robinson-Glass, 23, of 10 Sixth St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 2:35 a.m. June 17 with disorderly conduct.

Police said he was charged with arguing loudly in public on North Perry Street.

He will appear later in City Court.
