Traffic stop leads to warrant arrest

GLOVERSVILLE — Ross M. Vanalstyne, 21, of 35 Almond St. was taken into custody on a bench warrant by city police on Sunday.

Officers said Vanalstyne was charged following a traffic stop, during which it was discovered he had an active warrant from Montgomery County.

Vanalstyne was taken into custody and turned over to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Obscenities leads to disorderly charge

GLOVERSVILLE — Victoria L. Chenelle, 56, of 140 S. Main St. was charged with disorderly conduct by city police on Sunday.

Officer said during the investigation of a complaint, Chenelle yelled obscenities while outside, she refused to cease her actions after being told and was subsequently arrested.

Chenelle was transported to the station where she was processed and released to appear at a later date.
