Pair allegedly damages parked car

JOHNSTOWN — Two people were charged by city police at 3:50 p.m. Sept. 11 with trespass and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police said suspects charged were Dominic G. Lodestro, 17, of 335 Clover Circle Drive, Gloversville; and Joel L. Thomas. 17, of 165 Edick Road. Police said both allegedly entered the back parking lot of 114 N. Perry St. and intentionally damaged a parked car at 8:01 p.m. Sept. 4.

The suspects will appear later in City Court.

Inadequate exhaust leads to charges

JOHNSTOWN — Robert E. Wilmot, 22, of 93 E. Main St., Fonda, was charged by city police at 9:54 p.m. Sept. 10 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate exhaust.

Police said the motorist was charged on Water Street.

He was released in lieu of $200 cash bail to reappear later in City Court.

Uninspected car leads to pot charges

JOHNSTOWN — Two people were arrested by city police at 4:25 a.m. Sept. 10 on marijuana charges after a traffic stop.

Police said both driver Autumn M. Jackson, 19, of 165 Edick Road, Johnstown, and passenger Ryan R. Cook, 24, of 21 W. Liberty St., St. Johnsville, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Police said Jackson was also charged with uninspected motor vehicle.

Both suspects will appear later in City Court.

Equipment violation leads to charges

JOHNSTOWN — Brenda L. Cross, 49, of 107 S. Market St., Apartment 1, was charged by city police at 1:40 a.m. Sept. 10 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and an equipment violation for tail lights.

Police she was charged on Townsend Avenue.

She will appear later in City Court.

Driver ticketed on several charges

JOHNSTOWN – Jeffrey D. Schaefer, 32, of 30 Phillips St., Amsterdam, was charged by city police at 9:51 p.m. Sept. 9 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle, loud exhaust and unregistered motor vehicle.

Police the driver was charged on North Perry Street.

He was released in lieu of $200 cash bail to reappear later in City Court.

No tail lights leads to additional charges

JOHNSTOWN — Marshall J. Manchester, 20, of 19 Veghte St., was charged by city police at 10:31 p.m. Thursday with an equipment violation (rear lights) and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Police said the motorist was charged on South Market Street.

He will appear later in City Court.

Woman arrested on bench warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Ashley J. Hayes, 29, of 10 E. Clinton St., was arrested by city police at 10:16 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant.

Police said she was charged on a bench warrant from City Court.

She was held for an appearance in that court.

Woman charged on active bench warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Dakota C.S. Wilson, 20, of 106 Peaceful Falls Road, Northville, was arrested by city police at 3:45 p.m. Sept. 13 on a warrant.

Police said she was charged at 1 E. Main St. on a warrant issued by City Court.

She was held for arraignment in that court.
