GLEN — Michael T. Marotta, 73, of Schenectady, was charged by state police on Nov. 22 with first-degree offering a false instrument for filing for an incident which occurred in Queensbury on Nov. 20.
Driving while drunk charged
BROADALBIN — Tracey L. Ray, 48, of Amsterdam, was charged on Nov. 17 with aggravated driving while intoxicated, circumventing an interlock device, operating with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher and failure to keep right.
Man charged with grand larceny
FLORIDA — Daniel P. Sumpter, 31, of Amsterdam, was charged by state police on Nov. 26 with third-degree grand larceny. He was released on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bail bond.
Driver charged with DWI
AMSTERDAM — Joshua A. DeJesus, 27, of Amsterdam was charge don Nov. 29 by state police with driving while intoxicated, having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He was released to a third-party.
Woman charged with mischief
MAYFIELD — Alyssa A. Ovitt, 24, of Gloversville, was charged on Nov. 28 by state police for fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Driver faces several charges
JOHNSTOWN — Jessica L. Gordon, 33, of 26 W. Montgomery St., was charged by city police at 2:12 a.m. Nov. 21 with uninspected motor vehicle and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
Police said the motorist was cited on Industrial Parkway.
She will appear later in City Court.
Driver charged with unlicensed operation
JOHNSTOWN — Anthony C. Ashbey, 22, of 524 County Highway 123, Mayfield, was charged by city police at 6:35 a.m. Nov. 20 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Police said he was charged on Union Avenue.
He will appear later in City Court.
Traffic stop leads to unlicensed operation
JOHNSTOWN — Joseph A. Rodriguez, 37, of 4 Charles St., was charged by city police at 8:12 p.m. Nov. 17 with an equipment violation (headlight) and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
Police said he was cited on Townsend Avenue.
He will appear later in City Court.
Running a red light leads to charges
JOHNSTOWN — Allison R. Smullen, 21, of 23 Gilbert St., was charged by city police at 1:25 a.m. Nov. 17 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and passing a steady red light.
Police said she was charged on North Comrie Avenue.
She was released in lieu of $100 cash bail to appear later in City Court.
Man charged with arson and mischief
CHARLESTON — A town man has been charged with arson according to state police.
Brandon S. Roe, 24, was charged with fifth-degree arson and fourth-degree criminal mischief on Nov. 22.
Troopers said Roe was charged for intentionally starting a lumber pile on fire stemming from a dispute with a neighbor.
Roe issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town Court on a later date and released.
