Pair charged with identity theft
AMSTERDAM — Taylor Vroman, 22, of Amsterdam and Antonio C. Quinion, 24, also of Amsterdam were charged by state police on Monday with misdemeanor third-degree identity theft and petit larceny for an incident which occurred on Feb 12. Quinion was also charged for a Feb. 15 incident with felony second-degree identity theft and petit larceny and for a Feb. 12 incident he was charged with petit larceny and third-degree identity theft with intent to obtain goods.
Woman cited for insurance lapse
GLEN — Katti L. Herringshaw, 24, of 147 H Gray Road, Fort Plain, was cited by a Montgomery County sheriff’s deputy on Sunday with having a suspended registration for an insurance lapse.
Police said Herringshaw entered Montgomery County property and a license plate reader detected her vehicle’s registration was suspended.
Herringshaw was released on an appearance ticket.
Passenger cited for marijuana possession
MOHAWK — Kenneth M. Horton, 18, of 48 Broadway, Fonda was charged by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on Monday for possession of marijuana.
Horton was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation.
He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Mohawk Court at a later date.
Teen charged with criminal mischief
PALATINE — An unidentified Nelliston 16-year-old was charged by state police on March 6 for second-degree reckless endangerment and criminal mischief with intent to damage property.
The male teen was arrested at 21 Stone Arabia Road, Palatine and released on ann appearance ticket.
Man charged with having stolen goods
AMSTERDAM — Eric O. Garcia, 34, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on March 6 with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Man charged with pot possession
AMSTERDAM — Willie J. Stovall III of Schenectady was charged by state police on March 7 with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Pair charged with marijuana possession
JOHNSTOWN — Kristopher M. Richer, 35, of Fort Plain and Larry P. Lotman, 43, of Broadalbin, were charged by state police on March 6 with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Loud exhaust leads to several charges
WELLS — Brian Macejka, 45, of Mayfield, was charged by state police on March 5 with drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana, inadequate exhaust and speeding in a posted zone.
