Gloversville woman arrested on warrant
GLOVERSVILLE — Mackenzie R. Taylor, 21, of 76 Washington St. apartment 2, was taken into custody by city police on an active bench warrant on April 25.
The bench warrant for Taylor was issued by Gloversville City Court after she allegedly violated the terms of her probation. City police located Taylor at her residence.
Taylor was transported to the station for processing and held for arraignment.
Man charged with shoplifting
AMSTERDAM — Robert D. Lanza, 55, of 288 W. Main, was charged on April 26 by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for petit larceny and possession of stolen property.
Lanza was charged following an investigation by Amsterdam Police Department and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. During the investigation, it was found that Lanza was allegedly actively stealing from Hannaford Supermarket and was found in the parking lot to be in possession of stolen merchandise.
Lanza was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town Court.
Failure to pay fine leads to arrest
AMSTERDAM — Kingna Sanchez, 31, of 19 Lark St., was charged on April 26 by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on a bench warrant for failure to pay fine.
Sanchez was arraigned in town court and released after she paid the outstanding fine.
