Driver drunk driving with child in car

GLEN — Kaloutie D. Sahadeo, 38, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated driving while intoxicated for having a child in the vehicle and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Speeding leads to driving drunk charge

JOHNSTOWN — Kirk W. Holladay, 23, of Saratoga Springs, was charged by state police on Saturday with speeding in a posted zone, driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Woman charged with being disorderly

GLOVERSVILLE — Stephanie M. Buchanan, 34, of 18 Woodside Ave., was charged with disorderly conduct by city police on Sept. 12 at 10 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Woodside Avenue for the report of a male and female arguing. Once on the scene, police say they were interviewing the involved parties as Buchanan continued to yell, causing a crowd to gather. Buchanan was advised to stop yelling and was taken into custody when she reportedly failed to do so.

Buchanan was transported to the station where she was processed and released on an appearance ticket.

Man arrested on several warrants

GLOVERSVILLE — Robert T. Taylor, 41, of 651 Sruggs Lane, Willsburg, Kentucky, was taken into custody by city police on multiple active warrants on Sept. 12 at 7:19 p.m. on original charges of third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and unlawfully dealing with a child, all misdemeanors.

Taylor turned himself into the Gloversville Police Department on an active warrant stemming from a domestic violence incident that occurred on Jan. 17 at 1:13 a.m. During the incident, officers responded to a city address for a report that Taylor struck and choked a female, causing the victim to have difficulty breathing.

During the investigation, police also learned that Taylor had allegedly supplied alcohol to a person under the legal age. In addition to the above charges, Taylor also had an active warrant stemming from failure to pay a fine related to a charge of petit larceny.

Taylor was processed and held for arraignment.

Two charged in Tuesday incident

ESPERANCE — Elishia N. Castro, 36, of Esperance and Erica M. Galli, 19, of Warnerville were both charged by state police on Tuesday with one count each of acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17.

Driver charged with pot possession

JOHNSTOWN — Omar T. Ali, 25, of Buffalo, was charged by state police on Sept. 15 with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Man charged with having stolen gun

JOHNSTOWN — Eric S. Rivera, 31, of Glen, was charged by state police on Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property — firearms, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction for an incident which occurred on June 30.

Rivera was held for arraignment.
