Citation given for having stolen property
AMSTERDAM — Wilfredo Marrero-Garcia, 30, of Amsterdam was issued a citation by state police on Wednesday for fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Man charged for unlawful growing
WELLS — Woodie M. Gibson, 53, of Wells was charged by state police on Friday with unlawfully growing cannabis and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Felony charges lodged against woman
JOHNSTOWN — Cheyenne M. Lehr, 20, of Gloversville is facing several felonies lodged against her by state police on Friday.
In the first incident, which occurred Oct. 24 in Gloversville, Lehr was charged with seven counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument.
On Friday, she was also charged with one count of fourth-degree grand larceny — firearm, rifle or shotgun — for an incident on Friday in Mayfield.
On Friday, she was also charged with one count of second-degree possession of a forged instrument for an incident which occurred in Gloversville on Oct. 16.
And on Friday, she was charged with four counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument for an incident which occurred Oct. 11 in Johnstown.
According to an email from state police Informational Officer Trooper Kerra Burns, three of the cases are still open investigations, but the grand larceny case is where Lehr allegedly stole two long guns from a residence. She knew the victim. She later sold the guns to a local gun shop and were later recovered by state police.
In that case, she is due back in Bleecker Town Court on Dec. 4 at 4 p.m.
Lehr was arraigned and remanded to Fulton County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bail bond.
Man arrested on petit larceny charges
GLEN — Joshua W. Sanders, 38, of Johnstown was charged by state police on Saturday with five counts of petit larceny.
Driver charged with numerous offenses
AMSTERDAM — Heather M. Donofrio, 27, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Saturday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, no operable headlamps, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to keep right and stopping on a highway. Also charged in the traffic stop was Kamal Coleman-Mann, 35, of Gloversville. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Man arrested for criminal mischief
PERTH — William B. Skinner, 48, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on Nov. 4 with fourth-degree criminal mischief for attempting to prevent an emergency call.
