Troopers: Man took candy from store

PALATINE — Juan A. Vazquez, 45, of 93 E Grand St., Palatine Bridge was charged on Wednesday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for petit larceny.

Deputies said Vazquez allegedly stole $10.37 worth of candy from the Palatine Bridge Stewart’s Shop.

He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Town Court on Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.

ESPERANCE — Austin J. McBain, 19, of Jefferson was charged by state police on Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana.

AMSTERDAM — Lori I. Quist, 53, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on Saturday with license plate violation, driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

AMSTERDAM — Ashley A. Horn, 32, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on Nov. 10 with moving from a lane unsafely and unlawful possession of marijuana.

FORT PLAIN — Charles K. Ruoff, 52, of Wurtsboro was charged by state police on Nov. 11 with unlawful possession of marijuana.

CAROGA — John J. Livingston, 62, of Caroga Lake was charged by state police on Nov. 11 with unlawful possession of marijuana.

PERTH — An unidentified 18-year-old man from Amsterdam was charged by state police on Nov. 12 unlawful possession of marijuana.

NORTHAMPTON — Ritchie H. Dufel, 64, of Hadley was charged by state police on Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Deputies: Woman wanted on 3 warrants

MOHAWK — Melissa A. Dillenbeck, 38, of 165 Edick Road, Johnstown was charged on Sunday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for failing to pay a fine.

Deputies said Dillenbeck was charged on three outstanding bench warrants. She was arraigned in Town Court.

Deputies say man assaulted one of them

PALATINE — Jason L. Dyer, 42, of 1057 Route 5S, Sprakers was charged on Friday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for criminal mischief, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, third-degree assault and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Dyer was allegedly trying to get into Gabriana’s Pizza and Pasta and in the process broke the front door. Upon attempting to arrest Dyer, he allegedly actively resisted and assaulted one of the deputies.

He was released on appearance tickets.
