Woman arrested on valid bench warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Alison M. Marrone, 30, of 19 Yost St., was arrested by city police at 8:24 p.m. Dec. 14 on a warrant.

Police said she was arrested on the violation at the police station for having a valid bench warrant out of City Court.

Marrone was arraigned in City Court and will appear later.

Valid bench warrant leads to man’s arrest

JOHNSTOWN — Thomas W. Cionek Jr., 32, of 398 S. Main St., Gloversville, was arrested by city police at 7:51 p.m. Dec. 11 on a warrant.

Police said he was arrested on the violation at the police station for having a valid bench warrant out of City Court.

Cionek was arraigned in City Court and paid a fine.

Driver charged for multiple violations

JOHNSTOWN — Sarah B. Lathrop, 41, of 211 Woods Hollow Road, Gloversville, was charged by city police at 7:02 p.m. Dec. 13 with misdemeanor third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal a turn, a violation.

Police said she was charged after a vehicle stop on South Perry Street.

Lathrop will appear later in City Court.

Vehicle stop leads to charges

JOHNSTOWN — Kiara N. Putnam, 19, of 45 Barclay Street, Canajoharie, was charged by city police at 7:55 p.m. Dec. 8 with misdemeanor third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and disobeying a traffic control device, a violation.

Police said she was charged on East Main Street after a traffic stop.

Putnam will appear later in City Court.

Local man charged for unlicensed operation

JOHNSTOWN — Paul K. Scott, 55, of 85 Yale St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 12:20 p.m. Dec. 13 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Police said he was charged with the misdemeanor on a vehicle stop on North Comrie Avenue.

Scott will appear later in City Court.

Felony drug charges lodged against man

JOHNSTOWN — Lamont A. Mewite, 45, of 19 Montgomery St., Fultonville, was charged by city police at 5:30 p.m. Thursday with felony counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police said he was charged at the police station in connection with an alleged offense Oct. 25. Police said Mewite was arrested on a warrant for alleged sale of crack cocaine. The suspect is currently on parole.

Police said he was held without bail at the Fulton County Jail, pending further action in City Court.
