Woman refuses to leave, trespassed

GLOVERSVILLE — Koren Hohenforst, 35, of 235 S. Main St., Apt. 2, was charged with trespassing, a violation, by city police on Wednesday at 7:24 p.m.

Officers responded to Nathan Littauer Hospital for the report of a female who refused to leave the property. Upon arrival, officers identified the suspect as Hohenforst who was taken into custody after she continued refusing to leave the property.

Hohenforst was transported to the station, processed and released with an appearance ticket.

Man allegedly chokes victim

GLOVERSVILLE — Shaun C. Young, 27, Gloversville, was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant for charges of criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child by city police on Wednesday at 8:11 p.m.

The warrant for Young stemmed from a domestic violence incident when he allegedly placed his hands around the throat of the victim causing difficulty breathing. The alleged incident took place in front of a child.

Young was transported to the station, processed and held for arraignment.

Man facing several charges

ROOT — Pablo Romero, 43, of Root was charged by state police on Jan. 24 with third-degree assault, unlawful possession of marijuana, second-degree harassment with physical contact, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a firearm.

Romero was processed and remanded to Montgomery County Correctional facility in lieu of cash bail.

Driver cited for pot possession

WHITEHALL — Robert A. Richardson, 21, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Jan. 24 with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Richardson was released on an appearance ticket.
