Driver charged with drunk driving

GLOVERSVILLE — Erik J. Gelina, 46, of 155 First Ave., was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and trespassing by city police on Thursday at 12:02 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to a trespass in progress on East Eighth Avenue and located Gelina in a vehicle belonging to the complainant. During the course of investigation, police learned that Gelina was driving his own vehicle and followed the complainant home and into his driveway where he parked his car next to the complainant’s.

Police say Gelina then exited the car, and after being advised to leave, got into the complainant’s vehicle where officers located him. Officers conducted a field sobriety test on Gelina that yielded positive results for driving while under the influence of alcohol after smelling the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person.

Gelina was processed and released with an appearance ticket returnable in City Court at a later date.

Failure to appear leads to arrest

GLOVERSVILLE — Tina L. Shea, 42, of 273 W. Fulton St., was taken into custody on an active bench warrant by city police on Sunday at 10:10 p.m.

The bench warrant for Shea was issued out of City Court for failure to appear on an original charge of petit larceny. Police located Shea at her residence.

She was transported to the station where she was processed and arraigned in City Court.

Disorderly conduct warrant served

GLOVERSVILLE — Trey M. Laraway, 26, of 23 Third Ave., was taken into custody on two active bench warrants by city police on Sunday at 9:41 p.m.

The warrants for Laraway were issued out of City Court stemming from charges of disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police located Laraway at his residence.

Laraway was transported to the station where he was processed and held for arraignment.

Unlicensed dog charge cited

GLOVERSVILLE — Janice A. Dolder, 36, of 14 Western Boulevard, was taken into custody on an active bench warrant by city police on Sunday at 8:35 p.m.

The warrant for Dolder was issued out of City Court stemming from an unlicensed dog charge. Police located Dolder while conducting a traffic stop on West Fulton Street on a vehicle Dolder was a passenger of.

Dolder was transported to the station and held for arraignment.

Loud exhaust leads to more charges

MOHAWK — Samantha A. Hall, 29, was charged on Saturday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for operating a vehicle with an inadequate exhaust and third-degree aggravated suspended operation.

Hall was issued tickets returnable to Mohawk Town Court on March 3.
