Warrant for petit larceny, possession

AMSTERDAM — Robert D. Mosher, 24, was charged on Sunday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for an outstanding arrest warrant for petit larceny and possession of a forged instrument by state police.

Mosher was processed and arraigned and remanded to the correctional facility on $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bail bond.

He is to appear at Amsterdam Town Court at a later date.

Man arrested for having active warrant

ROCHESTER — Eric Sean Lewis, 53, was charged on Saturday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on an active Montgomery County Court Warrant.

Lewis was stopped in Rochester by state police and turned over to the sheriff’s deputies.

He was held at Montgomery County Jail to await arraignment.

Driver charged for suspended registration

GLEN — Scott M. Keller, 47, was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on Jan. 18 by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

Keller was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Glen Town Court on Feb. 19.

Driver ticketed for possession, highbeams

AMSTERDAM — Savannah R. Vedder, 22, was charged on Jan. 29 by Montgomery County for failing to dim her highbeams and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Vedder was issued appearance tickets returnable to Amsterdam Town Court on Feb. 19.

Suspended license leads to charges

PALATINE — Joshua J. Tomlinson, 27, of 24 Stone Arabia St., Nelliston was charged on Friday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for operating with a suspended license.

Tomlinson was released on an appearance ticket to return to Palatine Town Court at a later date.

Vehicle stop results in possession charge

FLORIDA — Thomas J. Brink, 33, of Binghamton, was arrested by state police at 2:35 p.m. Saturday on a charge of unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Troopers said he was charged after a vehicle stop on Route 5S in the town.

Brink will appear later in Town Court.

Man turns self in for active bench warrant

GLOVERSVILLE — John V. Oare, 59, of 50 Lincoln St., was taken into custody on an active bench warrant by city police on Tuesday at 8:29 a.m.

The warrant for Oare was issued out of City Court for failure to pay a fine on charges of failure to obey a dangerous dog order and unlicensed dog. Oare turned himself in to City Court.

Oare was processed and held for arraignment.

Woman arrested for stealing merchandise

JOHNSTOWN — Lyssa R. Battease, 18, of 141 Squires Road, Broadalbin, was charged by city police at 4 p.m. Jan. 23 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Police said she was charged at T.J. Maxx, 223 N. Comrie Ave., after allegedly stealing $34.96 worth of merchandise from the store.

She will appear later in City Court.
