Speeding leads to additional charges

JOHNSTOWN — Ryan D. Smith, 34, of 6 Place St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 8:05 a.m. Monday with misdemeanor third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation; and speed in excess of 55 mph, a violation.

Police said he was charged on North Perry Street while on a vehicle stop.

Smith will appear later in City Court.

Warrant arrest at police station

JOHNSTOWN — Brian C. Murphy, 34, of 130 E. Clinton St., was arrested by city police at 10:02 a.m. Friday on a warrant, a violation.

Police said he was arrested at the police station on a valid bench warrant issued out of City Court.

He will appear later in that court.

Failure to keep right leads to several tickets

JOHNSTOWN — Daniel M. Fowler, 34, of 320 W. Clinton St., was charged by city police at 12:50 p.m. Saturday with misdemeanor counts of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and driving without interlock device, all misdemeanors; and failure to keep right, a violation.

He was charged on Glenwood Avenue.

Police said Fowler was found to allegedly be in possession of two pills that field tested positive for MCMA, weighing .09 grams.

He was arraigned in City Court and will appear later.

Man arrested on warrant at station

JOHNSTOWN — Anthony A. Lamondie, 28, of 42 First Ave., Gloversville, was arrested by city police at 10:30 p.m. Jan. 31 on a warrant.

Police said he was arrested at the police station on a valid bench warrant issued by City Court.

He will appear later in City Court.

Driver cited for being unlicensed

JOHNSTOWN — Jeremy J. Ahrens Jr., 27, of 1773 Amsterdam Ave., Schenectady, was charged by city police at 1:25 p.m. Saturday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor.

Police said he was charged on South Comrie Avenue after a vehicle stop.

Ahrens will appear later in City Court.

Bad headlights leads to DWAI charges

JOHNSTOWN — Vernon C. Vouga, 32, of 25 S. William St., was charged by city police at 10:05 p.m. Friday with driving while ability impaired and inadequate headlight, violations.

Police said Vouga was charged on South Comrie Avenue after a vehicle stop. Police said the suspect failed field sobriety tests on scene, submitting to a breath test at the station, resulting in a 0.06 blood-alcohol content.

He will appear later in City Court.

Schenectady man arrested on warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Keyshawn S. Arnold, 22, of 3067 Albany St., Schenectady, was arrested by city police at 9:55 a.m. Jan. 22 on a warrant.

Police said he was arrested at the police station on a valid bench warrant issued by City Court.

Arnold will appear later in City Court.
