Man charged with sending indecent pics

AMSTERDAM — A 26-year-old Amsterdam man was charged by state police earlier this month with felony with first-degree disseminating indecent material to a minor.

Bryan A. Lemoine, 26, of Amsterdam, was charged. Police said the investigation began in January when a cybertip was reported regarding conversation between a 26-year-old male and an underage female consisting of their desire to meet to engage in sexual activity.

Fonda Bureau of Criminal Investigation were assisted by Internet Crimes Against Children and the State Police Troop G Computer Crime Unit in identifying Lemoine as the 26-year-old male.

Lemoine was interviewed and admitted to sending an inappropriate image of himself to the underage girl and engaging in inappropriate conversation with her, but denied ever meeting with her.

He had been living in Gloversville at the time and had only recently moved to Amsterdam.

Lemoine was arraigned in Perth Town Court and remanded to the Fulton County Jail without bail.

Truck driver facing numerous charges

PALATINE — Dale R. Reese, 36, of 2090 Route 50, Cherry Valley was charged on May 23 by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for failure to display proper placking, failure to display DOT number, operating a vehicle without highway use tax permit, unregistered motor vehicle, uninspected heavy vehicle, operating without insurance and improper or switched plates.

Deputies observed a yellow international bucket truck on West Grand in the village of Palatine Bridge without any company placard, DOT number, commercial heavy vehicle inspection or HUT permit. DMV records showed the vehicle was unregistered, uninsured and was displaying a license plate belonging to a different vehicle.

Reese was cited for seven violations and released on appearance tickets returnable to Palatine Town Court at a later date.

Driver cited for revoked registration

AMSTERDAM — Robert Santiago Jr., 24, of 21 Green St., was charged on Friday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked registration.

Santiago was processed and released with an appearance ticket for Amsterdam City Court at June 4.

Domestic leads to assault arrest

GLOVERSVILLE — Jamal C. Barksdale, 33, of Gloversville, was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant on a charge of third-degree attempted assault by city police on May 25 at 1:30 p.m.

The warrant for Barksdale was issued out of City Court following an investigation into a domestic violence complaint on April 23 at 6:30 a.m.

Barksdale was processed and held for arraignment.

Obscene language leads to man’s arrest

GLOVERSVILLE — Cody R. Stone, 23, of 108 E. Fulton St., was charged with disorderly conduct by city police on May 25 at 4:55 p.m.

Stone was taken into custody after he was observed by officers in the area of Bleecker and Church streets using obscene language, disturbing other people in the area.

Stone was transported to the station where he was processed and released with an appearance ticket returnable in City Court at a later date.
