Woman charged with criminal mischief
FLORIDA — Shawny L. Hebert, 28, of 226 Chapman Dr., Amsterdam was charged on Sunday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Woman charged with impersonation
GLOVERSVILLE — Katrina L. Pabis, 36, of Gloversville was charged by state police on May 29 with one count of second-degree criminal impersonation of another person.
Pabis was released on an appearance ticket.
Man charged with disobeying court
JOHNSTOWN — Dalton R. McManus, 19, of Johnstown was charged by state police on May 29 with second-degree criminal contempt for failure to obey a court order.
McManus was held for arraignment.
Driver charged with no endorsement
PALATINE — Shaun D. Lawton, 23, of 6th Avenue in Gloversville was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies with displaying a forged inspection sticker and operating out of class.
Deputies said on Saturday at around 4:30 a.m., they responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Route 5.
Upon investigation, deputies learned Lawton did not possess a motorcycle endorsement on his license and the motorcycle, a 1986 Suzuki had not had a state safety inspection since 2016, but that the motorcycle had a counterfeit inspection sticker making it look like the motorcycle had been inspected for the year.
Lawton was transported by GAVAC to the hospital for evaluation of minor injuries sustained in the crash. He was later issued appearance tickets returnable to Palatine Town Court on June 13.
Ticketed for expired learner’s permit
PALATINE — Syed Fahad Husain, 37, of Third Avenue in Canajoharie was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies at 11 p.m. on Sunday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate plate lamp.
Deputies said Husain was stopped for the inadequate plate lamp and a DMV check revealed his learner’s permit from Indiana had expired Jan. 31, 2014.
Husain was released on appearance tickets returnable to Palatine Town Court on June 13.
Man arrested for criminal mischief
FORT PLAIN — Hector J. Miner II, 67, of Route 10, Fort Plain was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday on an active warrant out of Palatine Town Court for criminal mischief.
Miner was arraigned on Palatine Town Court and released to appear at a later date.
Failure to pay fine leads to bench warrant
GLOVERSVILLE — Vincent P. Ruggeri, 32, of Fifth Street was arrested by City Police an active bench warrant out of City Court after Ruggeri failed to pay a fine relating to two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic needle.
Ruggeri was processed and held for arraignment.
