Driver charged for suspended registration
GLEN — Alliah N. Schoonmaker, of 1 Cady St., Amsterdam was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on Friday for operating on a suspended registration.
Schoonmaker drove past a mounted license plate reader alerting a deputy that the vehicle had a suspended registration.
She was processed roadside and was released on appearance tickets returnable to Glen Town Court.
Active bench warrant leads to woman’s arrest
GLOVERSVILLE — Heather L. Carpenter, 35, of 388 County Highway 101, was taken into custody on an active bench warrant by city police on June 7 at 9:59 a.m.
The warrant for Carpenter was issued out of City Court due to a probation violation. Carpenter was located by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department and turned over to the Gloversville Police Department.
Carpenter was processed and held for arraignment.
Man picked up for failure to appear
GLOVERSVILLE — Joseph F. Pagano, 42, of 1294 County Highway 123, Mayfield, was taken into custody on two active bench warrants by city police on June 8 at 11:10 a.m.
The bench warrants for Pagano were issued out of City Court by Judge Traci DiMezza for failure to appear on charges of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator. Pagano was located by members of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department and turned over to the Gloversville Police Department.
Pagano was processed and held for arraignment.
Failure to pay fine leads to man’s arrest
GLOVERSVILLE — Robert P. Williams, 23, of 2 Riverside Drive, Fultonville, was taken into custody on an active bench warrant by city police on May 28 at 9:14 a.m.
The bench warrant for Williams was signed in City Court by Judge Traci DiMezza for failure to pay a fine on a blight violation.
Williams was processed and held for arraignment.
Man charged with physical harassment
MINDEN — Peter A. Crouse, 52, of Minden was charged by state police on May 7 with second-degree harassment with physical contact.
Local man arrested on multiple charges
AMSTERDAM — Roberto M. Velez, 31, of St. Johnsville was charged by state police on June 7 with second-degree criminal impersonation, no inspection, no insurance, no license and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Traffic stop leads to DWI, speeding charge
NORTHVILLE — Terry L. Martin, 64, of Northville was charged on June 7 by state police with speeding in a posted zone, driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.
Failure to obey results in charge
JOHNSTOWN — Jason P. Green, 36, of Johnstown was charged by state police on June 9 with second-degree criminal contempt for failure to obey a court order.
