Driver facing DWAI, other charges

ST. JOHNSVILLE — Jeffrey Snyder, of 38 N. Division St., was charged by village police on June 20, with expired state license, driving while ability impaired and open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.

Snyder was processed and issued traffic and appearance tickets for a later date.

City man facing animal cruelty

ST. JOHNSVILLE — Adam Larue, of 78 E. Fulton St., Gloversville was charged by St. Johnsville police on June 23 with aggravated animal cruelty, abandonment of animal and failure to provide sustenance.

Larue was arrested following a lengthy investigation stemming from an incident that occurred on Feb. 24.

He was processed and arraigned at the St. Johnsville Town Court and remanded to the Montgomery County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bail bond.

DWI, unlicensed charges lodged

EPHRATAH — Ricky A. Boyer Jr., 44, of 22 E. Montgomery St., Johnstown, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 12:01 a.m. Saturday with driving while intoxicated, driving with 0.08 percent or greater blood-alcohol content, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and failure to keep right.

Deputies said he was charged following a traffic stop on Route 29 in the town of Ephratah. Deputies said Boyer was observed by deputies to be driving westbound in the eastbound lane of Route 29. A traffic stop and subsequent roadside investigation determined Boyer was allegedly intoxicated, deputies said.

He will appear later in Town Court.

Driver charged with being unlicensed

JOHNSTOWN — Luis N. Baez, 28, of 24 Yost St., was charged by city police at 5:05 p.m. June 20 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and an equipment violation — headlamps.

Police said Baez’s vehicle was stopped on North Comrie Avenue for a state Vehicle and Traffic Law infraction. He was also found to have a suspended New York state driver’s license, police said.

Baez will appear later in City Court.

Woman allegedly damages vehicle

JOHNSTOWN — Cynthia M. Oneil, 28, of 244 Bleecker St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 4:45 p.m. June 20 with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

Police said she was charged at the police station in connection with an offense at 5:05 p.m. June 16. Police said Oneil got into an altercation in a parking lot on North Comrie Avenue. Police said she caused damage to another person’s car door during the altercation.

She will appear later in City Court.

Traffic infractions leads to DWI

JOHNSTOWN — Ryan T. Bishop, 30, of 26 Chapin St., Seneca Falls, was charged by city police at 9:31 p.m. June 20 with driving while intoxicated and driving with 0.08 percent or greater blood-alcohol content, both misdemeanors; as well as inadequate headlamp and lane violations.

Police said members of the police Patrol Division stopped Bishop’s vehicle on North Comrie Avenue after allegedly observing state vehicle and traffic law violations at 9:15 p.m. Upon investigation, the driver was found to be allegedly intoxicated, police said.

Bishop will appear later in City Court.
