Teen charged with possession of drugs
AMSTERDAM — An unidentified 18-year-old female was charged by state police on Saturday at 1:32 a.m. with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The teen was released on an appearance ticket.
Driver facing numerous charges
FT. JOHNSON — The state police charged 28-year-old Quatejsa T. Pringle of East Pointe, Georgia with broken windshield, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, speeding in a posted zone, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated on Friday at 12:42 p.m.
Pringle was stopped on Route 5 and released on appearance tickets.
Man charged with being a fugitive
MAYFIELD — Sammy Ramirez, 44, of Broadalbin was charged by state police on Saturday with being a fugitive from justice from another state for a probation violation for aggravated assault.
Ramirez was remanded to Fulton County Correctional Facility without bail where he was still incarcerated as of this morning.
Woman charged with assault
JOHNSTOWN — Amy M. Roe, 28, of Fort Plain was charged by state police on Sunday with assault with criminal neglect causing an injury for an incident which occurred Saturday in Mohawk at 8:45 p.m. .
Roe was held on cash bail.
Woman charged with harassment
ESPERANCE — Rose C. Russell, 43, of Esperance was charged by state police on Friday with second-degree harassment with physical contact.
Russell was released on an appearance ticket.
Man charged with theft from Walmart
GLOVERSVILLE — Michael G. Rosario, 43, of 24 Eagle St., was charged with petit larceny by city police on Friday at 9:25 a.m.
Officers responded to the Walmart at 329 S. Kingsboro Ave. Ext. on Wednesday for an alleged larceny that occurred the previous night. Through investigation police learned that Rosario had stolen items from the store. Officers located Rosario at his residence.
Rosario was taken into custody and issued an appearance ticket returnable in City Court at a later date.
Inmate being released rearrested
GLOVERSVILLE — Cassandra J. Mickus, 33, of 68 Elizabeth St., Amsterdam, was taken into custody on an active bench warrant by city police on Friday at 2:45 p.m.
The warrant for Mickus stems from an investigation into a petit larceny incident that occurred at the Walmart at 329 S. Kingsboro Ave. Ext. on Nov. 11. Mickus was taken into custody by Gloversville police at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility where she was being released.
Mickus was processed and held for arraignment.
