No child seats, forged sticker
AMSTERDAM — John Rivera, 37, of 78 Academy St., Apt. 2, was charged on Sunday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies with forged inspection sticker.
Rivera was pulled over on Route 30 for a traffic violation when deputies discovered him to be in possession of a forged inspection sticker. He also had children younger than four years old in the back seat without the proper child restraints.
He was charged and released on appearance tickets returnable to Amsterdam Town Court at a later date.
Violation of probation charged
AMSTERDAM — Reynaldo Moya, 18, of 54 Elizabeth St., was charged on Aug. 2 by Montgomery county sheriff’s deputies on an active warrant out of Montgomery County Court for violation of probation.
Moya was arraigned in Montgomery County Court on Monday.
