Incident results in criminal mischief
FULTONVILLE — Robert E. VanPatten, 33, of Fonda was charged by state police on Friday with criminal mischief with intent to damage property for an incident which occurred in Fultonville.
VanPatten was arraigned and released in his own recognizance.
Local man arrested for drunk driving
JOHNSTOWN — Jason M. Clifford, 26, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Friday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.
Clifford was released on appearance tickets.
Traffic stop leads to woman’s DWI arrest
JOHNSTOWN — Joslynn M. Christiano, 24, of Johnstown was charged by state police on Saturday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.
Man charged with criminal possession
JOHNSTOWN — John P. Damphier Jr., 30, of 10 McKinley Ave., was charged by city police at 2:39 p.m. Tuesday with criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and suspended registration, all misdemeanors; and improper plates, a violation.
Police said he was charged on North Market Street after the Patrol Division stopped his vehicle for violations of state Vehicle and Traffic Law. Upon an interview of driver, Damphier, and a subsequent investigation, it was learned the vehicle registration was suspended and it had switched plates, police said.
He also allegedly possessed a controlled substance and hypodermic needle, police said.
Damphier will appear later in City Court.
