Two facing drug charges after stop

JOHNSTOWN — Two people were arrested by city police at 8:52 a.m. Sept. 9 on traffic and drug charges after their vehicle was stopped.

Police said driver Dana C. Horning, 23, of 10 Homestead Drive, Gloversville, was charged on North Comrie Avenue after a vehicle stop. She possessed a suspended New York state driver’s license.

Police said Horning was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and failure to keep right, a violation.

She will appear later in City Court.

Her passenger — Keyshawn S. Arnold, 23, of 3067 Albany St., Schenectady — was charged with felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Police said Arnold was allegedly in possession of narcotics.

He was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Fulton County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or $20,000 bond bail.

A jail spokesperson said Arnold was still incarcerated Sept. 12.

Woman charged with child endangerment

NELLISTON —Courtney M. Murphy, 19, of Palatine Bridge was charged by state police on Sept. 9 with endangering the welfare of a child for an incident which occurred on July 16.

Speeding leads to marijuana charge

GLEN — Corey R. Coulter, 50, of Schenectady was charged Sept. 1 by state police with second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding in a posted zone.

Teen charged with theft of services

MAYFIELD — An unidentified 17-year-old from Gloversville was charged by state police on Sept. 6 with theft of services and disorderly conduct.

Failure to keep right leads to DWI charges

NORTHAMPTON — Terrie L. Maccalus, 60, of Johnsburg was charged by state police on Sept. 5 with failure to keep right, following too closely, driving while intoxicated and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle while on a highway.

Criminal contempt charges lodged

GLOVERSVILLE — Kayla M. Trickler, 32, of 62 Third Ave., was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant on a charge of second-degree criminal contempt by city police on Sept. 9 at 10:33 a.m.

Police made contact with Trickler at 3 Frontage Road where she was taken into custody on the active arrest warrant issued out of City Court.

Trickler was processed and held for arraignment.

GLOVERSVILLE — Alexander I. Yager, 29, of 2268 Route 30, Mayfield, was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant on a charge of second-degree criminal contempt by city police on Sept. 9 at 11:33 a.m.

Police made contact with Yager at 3 Frontage Road where he was taken into custody on the active arrest warrant issued out of City Court.

Yager was processed and held for arraignment.
