SP: Man charged with menacing

FLORIDA —Mark A. Leggiero, 27, of Amsterdam was charged with second-degree menacing by state police on Saturday.

Leggiero was issued an appearance ticket for Town Court.

Man had 10 or more license suspensions

GLEN — Craig A. Ewers, 46, of Norwalk, Conn. was charged with a felony count of aggravated unlicensed operation, 10 or more suspensions, by state police on Friday.

Troopers said Ewers was charged after a traffic stop on Interstate 90 eastbound near mile marker 178.8.

State police said Ewers was held.

SP: Man was in possession of cocaine

GLEN — Michael T. Thomas, 57, of Yonkers was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of cocaine, a class D felony, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation by state police on Saturday.

Troopers said the charges relate to a traffic stop on Interstate 90 eastbound at mile marker 180.5 in the town.

Thomas was released on his own recognizance.

Woman was wanted on two warrants

GLOVERSVILLE — Joyce Harris, 34, of 33 Second St., was taken into custody on two active warrants by city police on Tuesday at 3:49 p.m.

Officers located Harris while responding to a disorderly conduct complaint at 81 Broad St. During the course of investigation police learned that two active warrants for Harris had been issued by City Court stemming from petit larceny charges related to an alleged incident that occurred at the Dollar General at 370 N. Main St. on Jan. 23.

Harris was transported to the station where she was held for arraignment in City Court.

Man charged with DWAI on Jan. 21

BROADALBIN — Ryan J. Mosher, 28, of 51 Prospect Ave., Gloversville, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies Jan. 21 with driving while ability impaired by alcohol and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Deputies said he was charged following a motor vehicle accident on County Highway 126 in the town of Broadalbin.

An interview determined Mosher was allegedly driving impaired by alcohol, lost control of his vehicle, and it exited the roadway, deputies said.

Mosher will appear later in Town Court.

Man charged after motor vehicle crash

BLEECKER — Todd M. Harwood, 41, of 21 Ash Lane, Gloversville, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies Jan. 25 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on shoulder/slopes, unreasonable speed, and unsafe lane changes.

Deputies said he was arrested following a motor vehicle accident on County Highway 112 in the town of Bleecker.

Harwood was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, lost control of his vehicle, exited the road and struck a ditch, deputies said. He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for evaluation.

He will appear later in Town Court.
