Criminal obstruction of breathing charged

OPPENHEIM —Alfred V. Dinuzzo, 36, of Oppenheim, was charged by state police Friday with criminal obstruction of breathing.

Driving while intoxicated charged

JOHNSTOWN — Theodore E. Hoye, 72, of Gloversville was charged by state police Sunday with driving while intoxicated, first offense, and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Two charged with petit larceny

GLEN — Two men were each charged with two counts of petit larceny by state police Tuesday for an incident which occurred in the town on April 14.

Justin L. Pyatt, 33, of Fultonville and Zachary L. Parisi, 29, also of Fultonville.

Both were released on appearance tickets.

Gloversville man facing a felony

GLEN — Daniel P. Penley, 26, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Tuesday with third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony, for an incident which occurred in Florida on April 14.

Driver allegedly drove drunk

AMSTERDAM — Stephone Q. Salley, 24, of Schenectady was charged by state police on April 14 with driving while intoxicated, first offense, and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Criminal contempt, imprisonment charged

FLORIDA —Patrick N. Hughes, 32, of Pattersonville, was charged by state police on April 9 with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree criminal contempt for failure to obey a court order.

Hughes was arraigned and released in his own recognizance.

Drunk driving, unlicensed charged

MAYFIELD — George H. LaFountain, 42, of 324 Reidel Road, town of Perth, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 8:39 p.m. April 7 with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and other state Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

Deputies said he was charged following a vehicle stop on Route 29 in the town of Mayfield.

During the stop, deputies determined LaFountain to be allegedly under the influence of alcohol. It is alleged he also operated a motor vehicle with a suspended non-driver ID only while under the influence of alcohol, deputies said.

The suspect was issued tickets for Town Court.

Criminal contempt, second charged

MAYFIELD — Jack D. Smith from 637 Jackson Summit Road, town of Mayfield, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 8:30 p.m. April 8 at his residence with second-degree criminal contempt.

Deputies said he was arrested following a complaint in the town of Mayfield. Deputies were dispatched to a complaint the day before on April 7, and while investigating, deputies determined that Smith had violated an order of protection.

Smith will appear later in Town Court.
