Criminal contempt charged

Collins, 36, of 4094 Route 10, St. Johnsville, was arrested by city police Sunday and charged with second-degree criminal contempt.Police said Collins turned himself in based on a bench warrant from City Court for a probation violation.He was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Fulton County Jail on $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond.

GLOVERSVILLE - Vincent J. Dolder, 25, of 19 Woodside Ave., was arrested by city police Wednesday and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.Police said officers responded to the area of North Main Street and East Ninth Avenue for a report of suspicious activity. Officers encountered Dolder and another male sitting in a vehicle in that area, police said. GLOVERSVILLE - David B. Vanalstyne, 46, of 76 Division St., was arrested by city police Friday and charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.Police said they were called to Vanalstyne's address for a domestic dispute where he was having an argument with a person related to him. Vanalstyne pushed the person down a flight of stairs, police said. The person had minor injuries and was treated and released from Nathan Littauer Hospital.Vanalstyne was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Fulton County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
