Art exhibits


∫ Sacandaga Valley Arts Network Artists’ Gallery Fall Exhibit: Fulton County Visitor Center, Routes 29 and 30, Vail Mills. Free and open to the public. Gallery is open weekends.

∫ Art show of watercolor paintings by Kathleen Oakes continues through the end of April: Micropolis Cooperative Gallery, 30 N. Main St., Gloversville. Micropolis is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. through 7 p.m. Monday thorugh Friday; from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

∫ Andrea A. Montanye Artwork Display: Frothingham Free Library, 28 Main St., Fonda. This display can be viewed during the regular library hours during April.


Daytime music


∫ Bill Ackerbauer and Tom Russo — Earth Day celebration: The bandshell at the park in downtown Johnstown, noon to 2 p.m. Free admission.

∫ Doc Orloff Blues Elixir: Mayfield Grill, 8 School St., Mayfield, 3 p.m.

Earth Day


∫ Clean Energy Fair: Johnstown Sir William Johnson Park, Main Street, Johnstown, noon to 2 p.m. Free event. Event includes clean energy vendors, informational displays, bottle drive to benefit Boy Scout Troop 104, and refreshments.



∫ Skeeter Creek — Glove’s Concert Series: Glove Performing Arts Center, 42 N. Main St., Gloversville, 7:30 p.m. General admission: $10. Call to reserve tickets at (518) 773-8255, Ext. 25 or the theater website at www.gloveteatre.org; tickets also available at door. The theater will be set up in a club setting.



∫ Aaron Mittler: Mayfield Grill, 8 School St., Mayfield, 7 p.m. No cover.


∫ DJ DiPasquale, McDougall and Associates and Karaoke: Aaron’s Irish Pub, 231 N. Main St., Gloversville, 9 p.m.


∫ Waystintyme: Gloversville Moose, 140 E. State St., Gloversville, 7 p.m. Open to the public.


∫ Aaron Mittler: Rustic Loft, 4740 Route 30, Amsterdam, 6 p.m. No cover.
