∫ Meet the Artists opening reception — 2017 New York state summer art show: Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, 2736 Route 30, Gloversville, 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibit is of artwork by artists from across the state. Light refreshments will be served. Free admission. The show runs through Sept. 27.

∫ Sacandaga Valley Arts Network Artists’ Gallery Fall Exhibit: Fulton County Visitor Center, Routes 29 and 30, Vail Mills. Free and open to the public. Gallery is open weekends.

∫ Display of work of Beverly Cornelius, basketmaker: Micropolis Cooperative Gallery inside Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market, 30 N. Main St., Gloversville. Also on display: Work of member artists including paintings, drawings, photographs, fiber art, batik, mixed media, woodwork, glass, digital art, sculpture, jewelry and pottery. The gallery is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The work will be on display through Friday.
