Riggi has maintained a rigorous schedule during her senior year, having enrolled in many college courses including calculus, American political systems, English 103 and 104, and science research. She also participated in the University at Albany’s science research seminar course, focusing on cancer patients and survivors as well as COVID-19. Upon graduation, she will receive the New York State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.
Throughout her high school career, Riggi has participated in several extracurricular activities. These included serving as president of the National Honor Society, Art Club, Girls’ Athletic Association, Student Council, and Chorus; vice president of Green Club and Yearbook Club; and treasurer of Drama Club. She also served as the class representative and led set production for the Drama Club. She has participated in soccer and softball all four years and has also been an active member of her community with over 200 hours of community service. Riggi will be attending the State University of New York at Buffalo Honors College pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering in the fall.
