Richard and Barbara Cline of Bluffton, S.C., and Gerald and Maria Rogers of Schenectady announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Rogers, to Jake Demarest, the son of Burton and Darlene Demarest of Mayfield.
Rogers is a graduate of Schalmont High School, Rotterdam, and recieved an associate degree in residential planning from The Art Institute of America. She is employed with Lexington Center, Fulton County New York State ARC.
Demarest is a graduate of Mayfield Central School. He is employed as a foreman for Keymark Corp., Fonda.
The couple became engaged on Valentine’s Day.
A wedding is planned for the summer of 2014.
