Michael and Ann Sturm of Gloversville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Sturm, to Benjamin Towne, the son of Daniel Sr. and Margaret Towne of Mayfield.
Sturm, who is a 2005 graduate of Gloversville High School and a 2009 graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta, Otsego County, received a master’s degree in special education from The College of St. Rose. She is employed as an elementary education teacher.
Towne, who is a 2005 graduate of Mayfield High School and a 2010 graduate of SUNY Brockport, Monroe County, received a master’s degree in public administration from Marist College. He is employed at Townsend Leather Co., Johnstown, as a human resources generalist.
A wedding is planned for June 2014.
