Timothy and Melissa Derwin of Johnstown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Gretchen Katie Derwin, to Jake Rolando Arrunategui, the son of Jeanine Arrunategui and David Ayers of Johnstown.
Derwin and Arrunategui are 2009 graduates of Johnstown High School and 2011 graduates of Monroe Community College. Derwin is a dental hygienist in Gloversville and Arrunategui is a security officer for Vireo Health, Johnstown.
A wedding is planned for Oct. 21.
