McGinnis Club reports on meeting

GLOVERSVILLE - The Ida L. McGinnis Club met Dec. 11, with 43 in attendance. The meeting was opened by the group singing "America." Betty Gugenberger led in devotions and in "The Lord's Prayer."Arla Fonda led in the Pledge of Allegiance. The reports of the secretary and treasurer were accepted as read. Jeanette Fonda gave the sunshine report. Rose Witke was welcomed as a new member.The guest speakers were two representatives of the Ayres Animal Shelter. GLOVERSVILLE - The following events are for the Senior Citizen Service Center of Gloversville and Fulton County, 53 Church St.On Monday at 9 a.m. morning coffee; an art class will meet from 9 to about 11:30 a.m.; at 1 p.m., the Gloversville 50-55 Plus Club will meet.On Tuesday at 9 a.m. morning coffee will be held; from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., art class.On Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon, Wii bowling.On Thursday at 10 a.m. is the bread pickup.On Friday at 9 a.m. will be guitar class; from 11 a.m. to noon will be a writers class.
