Broadalbin seniors have several trips set

BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin Senior Citizens met Wednesday, at the Raindancer Restaurant. Andrea Fettinger, director of the Fulton County Office for the Aging, installed the board for the new term which began Tuesday. The officers are, Toni Hallenbeck, president; June Zea, vice president; Jennifer Gilston, treasurer; Nancy Weiss, secretary; and Marsha Prokop, chaplain. The next regular meeting of the blub will be May 16.

There are still seats available on the following trips:

∫ Sept. 13: Adirondack Experience (Adirondack Museum) Trip includes dinner at the Alpine Grill. The cost is $65 and due by Aug. 22.

∫ Sept. 25: The “Big E.” Enjoy a day at the fair. No meals included. The cost is $35 due by Sept. 5.

∫ Oct. 30: A day in Salem, Mass. Explore the city where witches will be burned at the stake. No meals included. The cost is $35 due by Oct. 3.

It’s time to start planning for the following 2019 scheduled trips. Planned trips for 2019 are:

∫ Jan. 12 to 18: Iceland’s Magical Northern Lights — The cost starts at $3,999 double occupancy

∫ March 24 to April 1: Mississippi River cruise — the cost starts at $2,935 double occupancy

∫ Sept. 8 to 16: Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, & New Brunswick – The cost is $1,080 double occupancy

∫ Nov. 2 to 11: Sicily – The cost starts at $3,799 double occupancy
