Nutrition talk set during coffee hour

GLOVERSVILLE — The following are for the Senior Citizen Service Center of Gloversville and Fulton County, 53 Church St.

Today: Get out of the summer heat vittles program — $3 donation per meal (homemade chili, homemade corn bread, fruit, popsicles), noon; Gloversville 50-55 Plus Club meeting-activities, 1 p.m.; Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery paint with a purpose fundraiser — a master painter will teach participants how to paint a summer full moon picture — $25 — for more details, contact HFM Prevention Council at (518) 736-8188 and Gloversville Regional Animal Shelter class, both 6 p.m.

Tuesday: Tuesday’s Breakfast Program and coffee hour — $3 donation (participant’s choice); Gloversville Animal Shelter meeting, 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday: Coffee hour, 9:30 a.m.; Molly Capito, nutrition Outreach coordinator for Senior Health Improvement and Nutrition Education, class two will educate participants on proper ways to maximize good nutrition — signup by calling the center at (518) 725-0923, 11 a.m.; Wednesday noontime vittles program — $3 donation per meal (baked zita, fresh bread, steamed vegetables, homemade oatmeal raisin cookies), noon.

Thursday: Coffee hour, 9:30 a.m.; free bread pass out, 10 a.m.; dollar dance fundraiser — $6 admission includes smorgasbord buffet with music, dancing and memories. Pay $1 per song and pick a partner from the co-ed dancing panel, 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Friday: Coffee hour, 9:30 a.m.; Writers Circle, 11 a.m.; get out of the summer heat noontime vittles program — $3 donation per meal (barbecue pulled pork on a bun, homemade coleslaw, vegetables, ice cream, noon.

Saturday: Breakfast Nook Program — $3 donation (homemade breakfast pizza, fresh fruit, yogurt and granola), 9 a.m. Pick out a free card to send out a message.

Sunday: Kingdom Revelation Worship and Mission Center service, 8 a.m.
