Ricco-Kidwell

Amanda Catherine Ricco, the daughter of Steven and Tracie Ricco of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Eric Scott Kidwell, the son of Brian and Carol Kidwell of Canton, St. Lawrence County, at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 6, 2012.

The ceremony took place at the Mayfield United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jerry Oliver officiated.

The matron of honor was Sarah Schwartz of Gloversville, cousin of the bride. The bridal attendants were Melissa Hillock, Ila Mason Caitlin Clark, Jacqueline Miller, and BrieAnne Wilson, all of Gloversville, Lisa Roth of Johnstown; Amy Bellinger of Cohoes, Albany County, and Michelle Bishop of Plattsburgh, Clinton County.

The best man was Bart Kidwell of Gouverneur, St. Lawrence County, brother of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Ben Hammond of New Brunswick, N.J., Tom Alzo and Kyle Tupper, both of Canton, Nick Ricco of Gloversville, Anthony DeFranco of Adams, Jefferson County, and Travis Postma of Syracuse, Onondaga County.

A reception for 140 guests took place at Vincenza’s Banquet House, Gloversville.

A wedding trip took place in mid-October on a cruise ship in the southern Caribbean Sea. The couple resides in Amsterdam.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Gloversville High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Phoenix. She is an assistant childcare provider at the First Friends Preschool & Daycare, Broadalbin and a dance instructor at High Performance Dance Center, Johnstown.

The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Canton Central School and a 2011 graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego. He is employed at Target Distribution Center, Amsterdam.
