Ashleigh Marie Simeone, the daughter of Alfred and Robin Simeone Jr. of Amsterdam, was united in marriage to Kenneth Paul Newkirk, the son of Paul and Patricia Newkirk of Tribes Hill.
The ceremony took place at the Altamont Manor, Albany County, on Sept. 9, 2012. Amsterdam Town Justice Deborah Slezak officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The matron of honor was Tiffany Sampson, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Jessica Hroncich, sister of the bride and Aaliyah Goodson, niece of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Sierra Goodson, niece of the bride.
The best man was Keelan Zyzes. The groomsmen were Craig and Tim Newkirk, brothers of the bridegroom. The junior groomsman was Landon Sampson, nephew of the bride. The usher was Alfred Simeone III, brother of the bride.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Amsterdam High School and a 2007 graduate of the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University, Onondaga County. She is employed as an information technology business analyst at Amsterdam Printing & Litho.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Fonda-Fultonville High School and a 2004 graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh, Clinton County. He is employed at Newkirk Excavating & Trucking.
