Carrie Anne Yurkewecz, the daughter of Robert and Judith Yurkewecz of Fultonville, was united in marriage to Ryan Timothy Kelly, the son of Russell and Judith Kelly of Fultonville, on Oct. 6, 2012.

The ceremony took place at St. Cecilia Church, Fonda. The Rev. Patrick Gallagher officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Wendy Clark, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Tracy Yurkewecz, sister-in-law of the bride; Lauryn Cummings, cousin of the bride; and Sarah Holbrook and Olivia Hohm, friends of the bride.

The flower girls were Gracie and Emma Person and Marissa, Mackenzie, Morgyn and Molly Perkins, all cousins of the bridegroom.

The best man was Lance Henry. The ushers were Greg Nye, Owen Potter, Matthew Romell and Robert Dygert. The ringbearers were Gavin and Ethan Eddinger, cousins of the bridegroom; and Simon Yurkewecz, nephew of the bride.

A reception took place in Fultonville at the home of the bride’s parents.

A wedding trip to Hawaii is planned for February.

The bride, a graduate of Fonda-Fultonville Central School, received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in reading, both from the College of Saint Rose. She is a second-grade teacher at Canajoharie Central School.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Fonda-Fultonville Central School and received a bachelor’s degree in dairy management from the State University of New York at Morrisville, Madison County. He is a dairy farmer at Glenvue Dairy.
