Lindsey Pratt, the daughter of Leonard Pratt of Lockport, Niagara County, and Joyce Pratt of Johnstown, was united in marriage to David Valik Jr., the son of David Valik Sr. of Hoffmeister, Hamilton County, and Lynn Orsell of Johnstown, on Aug. 18, 2012.
The ceremony took place at The Free Methodist Church, Gloversville.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The matron of honor was Bonnie Bailey. The bridal attendants were Jessica Hayner, Ashley Charles, Audra Kubly and Misty Orengo. The junior bridesmaid was Samantha Valik. The flower girls were Talia Anderson and Emma Valik, children of the bride and bridegroom.
The best man was Bradley Hayner. The groomsmen were Gregory Hayner; John Valik, grandfather of the bridegroom; David Valik Sr., father of the bridegroom; and Kevin Valik, brother of the bridegroom.
A reception took place at the Johnstown Holiday Inn.
A wedding trip took place in The Poconos, Pennsylvania. The couple resides in Johnstown.
