Jessica Lander, daughter of Joseph and Sheila Lander of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Bradley Hayner, son of Greg Hayner and Lisa Hayner-Douglass, both of Johnstown, at 4:30 p.m. July 14, 2012.
The ceremony took place at North Main Street United Methodist Church in Gloversville. The bride was escorted by her father.
The maid of honor was Jamie Buseck of Gloversville, the bride’s sister. The bridal attendants were Lindsey Valik, Nicole DiMaio, Kati-lyn Meher and Megan Hayner, sister of the groom.
The best man was David Valik Jr. of Johnstown. The ushers were Gregory Hayner, father of the groom, Thomas Fraker, Thomas Nare and Fredrick Douglass, stepfather of the groom.
A reception for 200 guests was held at the Johnstown Holiday Inn.
A wedding trip was to Las Vegas, Florida and the Bahamas.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Johnstown High School. She received a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in psychology and minor in English at the University at Albany in 2010 and has a master’s degree in education with a concentration in school counseling from The College of Saint Rose. She is currently employed through the Family Counseling Center as a school-based intervention counselor at Gloversville High School.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Johnstown High School. He is employed as a costumer service representative at NBT Bank in Vails Mills.
