Julianne Brown, the daughter of Richard and Carol Hoose of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Joshua Venneman, the son of Geralidine Venneman of Johnstown, and Phil and Lorrie Venneman of Gloversville, on Oct. 24.
The ceremony and reception took place at the Cock ‘n Bull Resturaunt, Galway. The former Fulton County Surrogate Judge Richard Giardino officiated.
The bride was escorted by her parents and daughter, Avery Venneman.
The maids of honor were Jeanette Brown of Northville, sister of the bride; and Alicia Venneman of Saratoga Springs, sister of the bridegroom.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Gloversville High School and a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, Clinton County, and the University at Albany. She is employed as a vocational rehabilitation counselor with the New York State Commission for the Blind in the Program and Policy Unit, Rensselaer.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Mayfield High School and a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh and Hudson Valley Community College. He is employed as a cardiac sonographer at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany.
