Samantha Howell, the daughter of Randy and Suzi Howell of Vestal, Broome County, was united in marriage to Christopher Cubells, the son of Shannon Cubells of Gloversville and the late Raymond Cubells.
The ceremony and reception for 150 guests took place July 7, at The Binghamton Club. The officiant was Ronald Holly, uncle of the bridegroom.
The maid of honor was Elizabeth Howell of Broome County, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Alyssa Ackerman, Kala Rounds, Nicole Lafreniere, Kaleigh Chanlon and Rebecca Shapiro.
The best man was Ryan Cubells of Long Island, brother of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Evan Luey, Jay Smith, Jacob Greene, Steven Good and Greg Dohrmann.
A wedding cruise took place in Italy and Greece following the wedding. The couple resides in Cortland with their cats, Milo and Charlie.
Howell received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Binghamton University, Broome County and, master of education degree in higher education concentration in student affairs from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Erie County. She is a special events coordinator for the president at SUNY Cortland.
Cubells is a graduate of Gloversville High School and received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Stony Brook University. He works at SUNY Cortland as a senior software engineer and adjunct professor.
