Aggravated drunk driving charged
JOHNSTOWN — James R. Davis Jr. , 30, of 109 Allen Heights, St. Johnsville, was charged by by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 7:25 p.m. April 23 with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Deputies said he was charged following a vehicle complaint on County Highway 131 in the town of Johnstown. It is alleged Davis operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, having a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.18 percent or higher, deputies said.
He was issued tickets returnable to Town Court at a later date.
Erratic driving leads to DWI charges
NORTHVILLE — Jared K. Becotte, 44, of 242 N. Main Street, Northville, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 12:08 a.m. April 18 with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Deputies said he was charged following a vehicle stop on North Fifth Street in the village of Northville. Deputies stopped Becotte after observing the vehicle traveling in the oncoming lane of traffic. During the stop, deputies determined he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. It is alleged he had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.18 percent or higher, deputies said.
Becotte will appear later in Northampton Town Court.
Single-car crash leads to DWI charge
PERTH — Misty L. Sawyer, 41, of 51 Saratoga Ave, Broadalbin, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 10:51 p.m. April 16 with felony driving while intoxicated, in addition to other vehicle and traffic law violations.
Deputies said she was charged following a single car motor vehicle accident on County Highway 107 in the town of Perth. Deputies responded to an accident and determined Sawyer was the operator of the vehicle. It is alleged that Sawyer was under the influence of alcohol, having a blood alcohol concentration of 0.18 percent or higher.
She was issued tickets for Town Court at a later date.
Man allegedly vandalizes car wash
AMSTERDAM — Reece O. Bledsoe, 19, of Hagaman, was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies April 19 with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
Deputies said it was reported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office that multiple businesses were vandalized in the area of Route 30 in the town of Amsterdam. After an investigation, Bledsoe was charged for alleged vandalism done at Rick’s Robo Car Wash on Wallins Corners Road.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office still has an ongoing investigation into further property damage in the town of Amsterdam; and is assisting Amsterdam Police Department with property damage within the city of Amsterdam. More charges are expected in this investigation, deputies said.
Bledsoe is to appear in Amsterdam Town Court at 6 p.m. May 27.
