Donna M. Van Every, 63, of Route 30, Mayfield, died Monday, December 31, 2012, at the Nathan Littauer Hospital after being stricken at home. She was born on December 11, 1949, in the town of Northampton, N.Y., the daughter of the late George and Stella Richardson Knapp.
Donna was a graduate of Northville Central School, class of 1968. She was a lifetime area resident. She was employed by Nathan Littauer Hospital in the cafeteria for twenty six years.
Survivors include her husband, Charles “John” Van Every of Mayfield; two sons, Charles “Johnny” Van Every Jr. and his wife, Catherine of Johnstown and David Gallup of Florida; two daughters, Tina Van Every and her fiance, Chris Hawthrone of California and Nicole Gallup of Watervliet, N.Y.; one brother, Donald Knapp and his wife, Sharon of Fort Johnson; four grandchildren, Brittney, BriAnn, Blaine and Zach. She was predeceased by brothers, George Jr., Ivory, Charles and Lewis; and her sisters, Janet and Dixie. Her granddaughter, Bethany Lynn Van Every also predeceased her.
Friends may call on Friday, January 4, 2012, at the Northville Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Burial will be held in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville in the spring.
