Jeane “Jane” I. Angus, 81, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 16, 2013. Jane (Mom), you were the wind beneath our wings.
She was the first born child of nine to the late Frank and Beatrice (Garlock) Cool on June 4, 1931. Jane went to Ephratah Consolidated School and always wished that she would have pursued her desire to be an elementary school teacher because of her love of children. Jane loved to garden and was very creative. She loved arts and crafts and was very good at drawing and sketching. She was a warm, kind and loving mother, grandmother, and wife. Jane worked at The Saltsman Hotel in Ephratah as a waitress and the Johnstown Knitting Mill as a seamstress. She had a great sense of humor and always tried to make people smile. Jane is predeceased by her two sisters, Caroline Gray and Dorothy Warren and her three brothers Eugene Cool, Wilfred Cool and James Cool.
Jane is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 64 years, Harley F. Angus, and their five children: Gregory (Christine) Angus of Rochester; Terri (Jeff) Drawe of Rochester; Laurie (Ron) Garion of Coral Springs, Fla.; Scott (Laurie) Angus of Caroga Lake; and Cindy (Tom) Mowers of Rochester. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and her brother, William Cool, and her sisters, Edna Gray and Betty Harlow.
