Donald H. Lippert II, 74, of Johnstown, N.Y., passed away on Jan. 30, 2013, at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
He was born Oct. 22, 1938, in Johnstown, N.Y., the son of Donald and Isabel Hands Lippert. He was a graduate of Johnstown High School and was first employed at General Electric for many years. He then became the owner-operator of North Country Wash and Dry in Caroga Lake, N.Y. from 1980 until he retired in 1998.
Mr. Lippert is survived by his wife, the former Patricia A. Gesner, of Johnstown; two sons, Donald H. (Elaine) Lippert III of Little Falls, N.Y., Jeffrey Lee Lippert of Johnstown, N.Y.; and a daughter, Caryn Roark of Colbrook, N.Y. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Danielle, Ashlyn, Chloe and cousins.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Ehle Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday. Cremation will take place.
