Mrs. Mary Frances DiMezza, 88, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2013, at Nathan Littauer Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Guilford, Maine, on March 29, 1924. Mary graduated from Morse High School in Bath, Maine, on June 10, 1942. She was united in marriage to Donald DiMezza on May 5, 1945, in Gloversville.
Mary had been employed at the former Fulton County Bank in Gloversville for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed her granddaughter and family. She loved animals, playing cards and working in her garden.
Survivors include: her children, Anthony of Gloversville, Deborah Pedrick and her husband, Nelson of The Villages, Fla., and Sandra Lowell of upstate New York. Mary is also survived by her granddaughter, Heather of Schenectady; and her brother, Lawrence of Edgecomb, Maine. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald on November 23, 1979; and brothers, Lester, Brian and Claude.
Private services will take place in the spring at the convenience of her family.
