Roslyn Ann Mosconi, 86, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Oneida Health Care Center. She was born in Syracuse, N.Y. on July 21, 1926, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Nasiff.
Roslyn graduated from Most Holy Rosary School in Syracuse.
She worked as a secretary at Crucible Steel.
She was married to James J. Mosconi Sr. on September 4, 1948, at Most Holy Rosary Church in Syracuse.
Roslyn was a parishioner and a member of the Legion of Mary at Holy Family Church, Fairmount.
She was predeceased by her parents and husband.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her son, James J. Mosconi Jr.; daughter, Janet (Thomas) Manko; grandchildren, Matthew, Angela, Nicholas, Mark and Dominic Mosconi, Stephen, Daniel and Michael Manko; sisters, June Nasiff of Syracuse, Edna (Richard) Nojeim of Greeneville, Tenn.; brother, Roger Nasiff of Baldwinsville; a niece; and eight nephews.
Calling hours will be 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2013, at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Syracuse. Rite of Committal and Burial will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt.
