Carol Ferguson Nichols Bowers, 68, of Pine Lane, Northville, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at home with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Gloversville, N.Y., on November 9, 1944, the daughter of Elwyn and Marion Hopkins Ferguson. She was a graduate of Northville Central School. She had worked for the USDA and was the owner and operator of Four Corners Diner in Edinburg.
She was of the Methodist faith and an associate member of the Edinburg Emergency Squad and an honorary member of the Edinburg Fire Department. She loved craft shows, bingo, casinos, shopping, traveling and reading.
Survivors include her mother, Marion (Larry “Dewey”) Ferguson; husband, Paul Bowers, whom she married on July 21, 1984; son, James Nichols; daughter, Jacqueline Nichols; brothers, Archie, Joel (Denise), John (Cathy), Douglas (Marguerite), and Gregory; sisters, Mary, Debbie (George) and Denise; one grandchild, Shelby Nichols. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law; and also by two aunts, Helen Ferguson and Charlotte Darby; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father, Elwyn Ferguson; her first husband, James Nichols; her aunt, Helen Ginter; nephews, Eric Ferguson, Chad Ferguson and Jeffrey Edwards.

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Robinson Cemetery, Edinburg.
