James L. Wilson III, 64, of Lake Luzerne, N.Y., entered into eternal rest on March 27, 2013, in Fort Myers, Fla. He was surrounded by his family and hopefully had an early tee time in heaven. Jim was predeceased by his parents, James L. Wilson II and Joyce Campbell Wilson.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Teresa; daughter, Jennifer Wilson (Danielle); brother, Dick Wilson; sister-in-law, Fran; stepdaughter, Jennifer DaBiere (Rich); granddaughter, Cecilee DaBiere; niece, Kate Ketschek (Michael); great-niece, Campbell Ketschek; mother-in-law, Aldona Ruggiero; sisters-in-law, Linda Ruggiero, Phyllis Johnson, Jeanne Everest (Michael); brothers-in-law, Lou Ruggiero (Lyn), Michael Ruggiero (Lana), David Ruggiero (Julie); and many friends who loved and enjoyed Jimmy’s sense of humor.
Jim was a lifelong resident of the Glens Falls area. He graduated from Glens Falls High School and Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. He started out working for Burroughs Business Company, then joined his mother at Glens Falls Insurance Company. In 1986, Jim accepted a position at Associates of Glens Falls, and later became a partner with the firm. He retired from Associates in December 2011, and looked forward to many happy days in sunny Florida, especially on the Legends Golf Course.
Jim was an active member of the Glens Falls Country Club, where he spent many a day hitting it long and straight, and some days much too often. Jim was a lifetime member of the Pinnacle Hunting Club, which was started by his father and brother back in the 60s. He really enjoyed the camaraderie of his fellow hunters and loved spending time outdoors. Jim was also a member of the West Mountain National Ski Patrol for 25 years. During his illness, Jim found comfort and friendship as a member of The Hadley-Luzerne Wesleyan Church.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Jim on April 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. at The Hadley-Luzerne Wesleyan Church on Route 9 north, Lake Luzerne, N.Y. Reception to follow at the Montcalm Restaurant on Route 9, Lake George, N.Y.
